LTV (Loan-to-Value ratio)

The ratio of the first-lien loan amount to the property's appraised value, expressed as a percentage.

Primary risk variable in mortgage pricing. Banded for LLPAs and eligibility (e.g., 60-70, 70-75, 75-80, 80-85). High-LTV loans typically require mortgage insurance.
