Lock breakage
A scenario where a locked loan doesn't fund and gets cancelled, often re-locked at a different rate.
Lock breakage is operationally costly — both directly (hedge unwind) and indirectly (LO trust). Tracking breakage rate is a routine pipeline-quality metric.
