Loan officer compensation
Compensation paid to loan officers, regulated by the LO Compensation Rule (Reg Z) restricting per-loan and dual compensation.
The LO Compensation Rule (effective 2011) prohibits compensation that varies based on loan terms (other than loan amount) to prevent steering. Comp plans must comply.
