GLBA

Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act — federal law including the Safeguards Rule that governs financial institutions' protection of customer information.

The Safeguards Rule (16 CFR Part 314) requires designated security leadership, written risk assessment, encryption of customer data, MFA, monitoring, incident response, and service-provider oversight.
